Cooking techniques by Chuck Williams

This section of the blog is a tribute to the great book written by Chuck Williams, called "Tools & Techniques". I bought it this summer and I absolutely love it!!! It's full of pictures to help you understand everything you need to know in the kitchen. It's really a great guide. Starting with the explanation for every knife, pot or utensil and ending with basic cooking procedures.
Because I don't want to be accused of any literary theft, I will only present you what the book says and state the fact that nothing I say in the following posts regarding the subject belongs to me. 
This book helped me a lot and still does and that is why I am so keen on sharing it with you. It is also kind of expensive (150 lei, which is equivalent of 40 € or 55 $) so why not save you some cash? :)
